The book is now with my publisher so I can think of other things. I have always thought how strange it is that when I finish one project another one very soon presents itself. Well things are running to form...................
Last Sunday I received an email from John in America, who it seems is in possession of documents relating to Swineshead. His mother bought a box of miscellaneous articles at an auction some time ago and in it were these documents - dating between 1700 and 1850 - and all relating to land purchases, wills etc to do with people in Swineshead. He went online, Googled Swineshead and found my website, with my email address. He asked me if I knew anyone who might be interested in them! The answer was Yes! Me! I shall work on them for a while and then try to find anyone with the same name(s) who may be interested in them. Failing that, they will go to the Lincolnshire Archives.
They should arrive in the next seven days.
So watch this space.
