Simply Boston Magazine

There is a free magazine called Simply Boston and my daughter brought me a copy the other day as there was a piece in it about Swineshead.  It was written by Kate Chapman and she described the village as being full of hustle and bustle with some interesting tales to tell.  She mentions King John of course as people always do, but she goes on to talk about Delaney the Catburglar who lived in Swineshead in the 1920s. Delaney married a local lady and having spent all her money absconded with the family silver and anything else he could fit into his suitcase!

Thanks Kate for promoting my book about Delaney. There are copies still available as that is the only one of my books still in print. It is a good read, if I do say so myself!!

Kate also mentions Gavin Extence's book 'The Universe Versus Alex Woods, and I can recommend that as being a really good read too, having read it recently.
