My apologies to my followers as I never seem to get around to writing up my blog these days. I should have more time soon as I am dropping out of U3A for a while in order to complete some of the projects I have started and never finished! I tidied my 'office' (it's the dining room really and as I was having a visitor it had to revert to its proper role) and was appalled at the amount of unfinished work I had filed away, so come the autumn I will be glued to the computer.

In the spring I was contacted by quite a few people with various requests and someone asked me how to get one of my books which are out of print. I referred them to Ebay. However a friend has found that she has two copies of Swineshead Remembers and I have one here for sale. If anyone is interested in buying it please contact me as soon as possible. I will keep it for a month and then it will go onto Ebay.

Swineshead had a very successful Jubilee Day despite the weather and the village turned out in considerable numbers. Most of the mugs for the children went on the day and the few that were left have now been sold.
